One of the wonderful things about The Whisper of God community is the fact that we can share with each other our relationship with God.
The Whisper of God FaceBook community is a very active community (the FaceBook page can be found here). It is heartwarming to see questions being posed by some and answered by others. It is awesome to be part of a group of like minded people asking for prayers and praying for and supporting each other. We learn and grow through each others experiences.
Losing a Loved One

As some of you might know, The Whisper of God community has grown substantially over the past ten days due to a new FaceBook page that I launched. As part of the page, many members of our community have been sending in prayer requests. One struck me this morning that said:
“I ask for prayers for my families esp my daughters and I; we just lost our husband, son, brother, and dad. he took ill on his way to iraq. thank you”

Isn’t it funny how there are certain times of your life, even from a very young age, that the memory of those times seem to stick with you. Not only do they stick with you, they are associated with feelings that you can still feel as if it were yesterday.
I am sure we all have many of them.
Bumper Stickers

I just got back home after being away for a few days. On the way home I had to drive up I-95 in the Northeast. If you know anything about this road you will know that parts of it are like driving in a Nascar race but without the rules or the sportsmanship.
While driving I noticed a car with a bumper sticker that said “Choose Civility”.
